Hi Jerry, thank you for the comment. I’m dubious about those stats since the premise is that eating plants is more destructive to animal life than eating animals. Consider that if you eat a pound of beef, you have effectively consumed about 10 pounds of grain because that’s how much grain, on average, it takes to grow a pound of beef. Can you cite your source and put your analysis in this context?

I’m lucky that humans can produce B vitamin supplements. It allows me to make the moral choice of eating only plants. Even so, I’ve been strictly vegan for years and haven’t needed supplements. I’m far healthier than I ever was eating meat, or so says my doctor.
